About us

The pharmacists behind Canada's pharmacy transaction platform

Our mission is simple: every pharmacy owner in Canada should buy, sell, or build with an advisor who actually understands the business, because they run one themselves. We are that pharmacy broker Canada did not have: pharmacists first, deal-makers second, and honest about both.

Our position

Why we are different

We are not realtors. We are not certified business valuators. We are pharmacists who have lived every line of your P&L.

Both of us hold a Pharm.D., both of us are licensed, and both of us own pharmacies today. We dispense today. We have signed the front of paycheques, negotiated leases and wholesale agreements, and bought and sold pharmacies with our own capital as well as for clients. When a broker who has never reconciled a rebate statement tells you what your pharmacy is worth, they are guessing politely. We are not.

That specialization cuts both ways, and we tell you where our edges are: for certified valuations, legal drafting, and tax planning we work alongside your accountant and lawyer, and we will tell you when you need one.

How we work

One deal team, both partners, every engagement

We deliberately stay small. There is no junior associate learning on your transaction and no handoff between departments. Both partners work every engagement: two pharmacists reviewing your valuation, your buyer shortlist, and every material decision from LOI to closing.

We are based in Vancouver and serve all thirteen provinces and territories. Pharmacy economics change at every provincial border: multiples, funding models, ownership rules, and regulatory transfer all differ, and our valuation model and process are calibrated province by province.

Fees

Straight answers about fees

Brokerage is a success fee, earned at closing. If your deal does not close, we do not get paid. That keeps our incentives on your side of the table: we do better when you do better, and we have no reason to push a weak deal across the line.

Standalone valuations and advisory work are scoped and quoted upfront based on complexity, before we start. No retainers that reward activity over outcomes, and no numbers you first hear about at closing.

Questions people ask about us

Are you licensed realtors?
No, and we say so plainly. We are not realtors and not certified business valuators. We are licensed pharmacists who broker pharmacy transactions as specialists in one asset class. Where a transaction includes real property that requires a licensed real estate professional, we work alongside one, and we always recommend independent legal and accounting advice.
What makes a pharmacist broker different from a business broker?
A general business broker sells restaurants one month and pharmacies the next. We own and operate pharmacies today, dispense today, and have bought and sold pharmacies with our own capital. When we review your payer mix, rebate structure, or lease, we are reading a business we run ourselves.
Do you work outside British Columbia?
Yes. We are based in Vancouver and serve every Canadian province and territory, with province-specific guidance on multiples, funding models, ownership rules, and regulatory transfer.
How do you charge?
Brokerage is success-fee based: our fee is earned at closing, so we are paid when your deal completes and not before. Standalone valuations and advisory work are scoped and quoted upfront based on complexity. We walk every client through the numbers before any engagement.
Are both partners involved in my transaction?
Yes. We deliberately run one deal team. Both partners are on every engagement, so you get two sets of pharmacist eyes on your valuation, your buyer list, and your negotiation, not a junior associate with a checklist.
